About FujiNet Online

FujiNet Online is a volunteer-operated community service supporting the open-source FujiNet project.

Services may include:

  • Google OAuth integration
  • TNFS file server services
  • Multiplayer game lobby services
  • Community APIs
  • Device connectivity services
  • Project website and documentation

Services may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time.

No User Accounts

Most FujiNet Online services do not require user registration.

Multiplayer services may request a temporary display name for gameplay purposes. These names are not intended to serve as permanent user accounts.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the services
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • use the services for unlawful purposes
  • distribute malware or malicious software
  • intentionally overload or abuse the infrastructure
  • impersonate other users or developers
  • violate applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to restrict or block access to users engaging in abusive or harmful behavior.

Google Services

Certain features require authorization through your Google Account.

You control whether to grant this access and may revoke authorization at any time through your Google Account.

Google services remain subject to Google’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The FujiNet project consists of software developed by numerous contributors under their respective open-source licenses.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any software, trademarks, or intellectual property.

Availability

FujiNet Online is operated by volunteers on a best-effort basis.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • availability
  • uptime
  • uninterrupted operation
  • future compatibility
  • continued operation of any particular service

Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without prior notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FujiNet Online and its volunteer contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the services.

Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless the volunteer operators and contributors of FujiNet Online from claims arising from your misuse of the services or violation of these Terms.

Changes

These Terms may be updated periodically.

Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted under the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
