Use the text API
Plain-text BBS lists for terminal applications and simple clients.
Endpoints
Use a platform slug to get all active BBSes for that platform. Add a compatibility slug to select BBSes supporting that value.
The compatibility filter is an intersection: a BBS can support other compatibility values and still appear.
Response format
Each line has five pipe-separated fields. Compatibility values are comma-separated display names.
BBS Name|hostname|port|active|ASCII,ATASCII
Responses use text/plain with UTF-8, have no header, and are alphabetized by BBS name. Only published, active BBSes appear.
Empty lists and errors
A valid filter with no matching BBSes returns HTTP 200 with an empty body. An unknown platform or compatibility slug returns HTTP 404 with a short plain-text message.
